On 2 December 2022, Mondragon University hosted a visit by Robotics and Automation Master students from the robotics discipline. The students were introduced to the project “R2P2 NETWORKING FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN INTERACTIVE AND SENSITIVE ROBOTICS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING” http://r2p2.eu/
During the presentation, the individual activities of the project were presented, and the possibility of cooperation in the form of internships and participation in joint research activities between Mondragon University, Technical University of Liberec, Aalborg Universitet, Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, and Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III was offered.
Nestor Arana-Arexolaleiba introduced an example of a human robotics cell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dvF9aBHVnA which is used as an experimental setup for the R2P2 project. The students discussed the possibilities of collaborative robotics and artificial vision aids in collaboration between humans and robots.
