Participants: On 21 January 2022, CXI hosted a visit by Mexican Master’s students from various disciplines. The students were introduced to the project “R2P2 NETWORKING FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN INTERACTIVE AND SENSITIVE ROBOTICS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING”. During the presentation, the individual activities of the project were presented and the possibility of cooperation in the form of internships and participation in joint research activities at the Technical University of Liberec was offered. The presentation was followed by an active debate, where students were interested in specific research areas, technologies and processes to get involved in the collaboration. Subsequently, a tour of the selected workplaces took place. The students visited the 3D printing laboratory where Dr. Šafka introduced them to different technologies based on printing plastic, metal or composite prototypes. In the robotics lab, students learned more about research in the areas of rehabilitation robotics, industrial robotics, the use of sensing robots or the use of augmented and mixed reality together with robots in manufacturing processes.
